Meet Encino Oral Surgeon Dr. Dishakjian
Dr. Dishakjian (aka “Dr. D”) is a Los Angeles native who completed his undergraduate education at UCLA, earning a B.S. in Biology with the honor of Phi Beta Kappa. He went on to earn his DDS at the UCLA School of Dentistry, which is routinely listed as one of the top dental schools in the nation.
Dr. D then spent four years in our nation’s capital, where he completed a rigorous residency program at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, the main Level 1 trauma center in Washington DC. Throughout his four years of training in the hospital setting, along with affiliations at Georgetown University, National Institutes of Health, and Children’s National Hospital, Dr. D became proficient in practicing the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
In his spare time, Dr. D is a certified movie buff and enjoys going to local independent theaters to watch films. On the weekends, you will often find him hiking in the mountains or biking along the beach. When he’s not being active, he likes spending time with family and friends or simply relishing being back in The Valley where he belongs.
